Sowerby Music Patrons

Sowerby Music Patrons support Sowerby Music and its educational programmes in general, but most especially, they support the Music For Life programme of recitals, workshops and concerts for Primary School Children who attend 33 Primary Schools, and 2 Schools for children with Special Educational Needs in the Thirsk, Northallerton and Bedale areas of North Yorkshire. On average, Patrons give approximately £60 per year to maintain these programmes.

Through the generosity of our Patrons, Sowerby Music is able to offer financial help to a select handful of very talented local young musicians. - more details of the Peter Chase Award
