Two of a kind

Georgina and Louise return for a sixth year with two beautiful harps and an assortment of wind instruments.

Georgina Wells - harp

Georgina studied at Trinity College of Music, London under Sioned Williams of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. She has played for many prestigious clients including the Mayor of Westminster and at the Savoy and Café Royal in London. Having worked with the Bournemouth Symphony, Liverpool Philharmonic and London based orchestras, Georgina returned to North Yorkshire where she is currently working as a teacher of the harp including Ripon Cathedral Choir School. She combines teaching with freelance engagements for both solo and chamber performances.

Louise Evans - flute

Louise studied at Huddersfield University for three years with Alan Lockwood and then went on to York University for a post-graduate course. She now combines a teaching career in a wide range of schools in and around York and Wetherby with freelance playing, including the City of York Guildhall Orchestra, York Musical Society and a number of chamber ensembles.
