Connect any serial port to an ethernet
Local Area Network
The Vlinx model ESP901 Ethernet serial server connects
RS-232, 422, 485 serial devices to an Ethernet LAN/WAN.
A virtual COM port on a PC (software supplied) establishes
a connection with the Ethernet to Serial module. This in
turn will allow communications with the connected serial
device in the same manner as a device connected to the COM
port on a PC. The LAN becomes transparent to the serial device
and the software running on the PC.
Compile TDS2020F (or TDS9092) source
code over your LAN, or use the Ethernet connection to upload
data from a TDS2020F-based instrument or datalogger.
