32k byte EPROM

Once the software has been finalised, the 28-pin socket on the TDS2020F or TDS9092 can hold the program permanently in a 27C256 EPROM.

On TDS2020F, while the Flash-EEPROM is the easier option for development this EPROM is ideal for production as it is cheaper and the current consumption during standby is lower. The 27C256 is the only option on TDS9092.

This EPROM will be needed if development was carried out using a TDS2020DV piggyback board.
